3D Scanning for Product Design

3D Scanners have become more portable and reliable over the years. Due to their high precision, they are used by engineers in designing consumer products. Designers and engineers use 3D scanning to easily gather data of components needed for a design or acquire the geometry of an existing object for performing Scan-to-CAD. Our 3D scanners offer precise high-resolution data for reverse engineering and designing better products. Product design from reverse engineering can be challenging for designs with complex and freeform shapes as traditional methods of measurement are incapable of accurately capturing surface geometry. Our Scan-to-CAD approach for reverse engineering uses high-resolution 3D scanners that are capable of capturing accurate surface geometry and texture of any product.

Functional Prototyping using 3D Printing
