    Got a Question About the iReal 2E 3D Scanner?

    No, the iReal 2E does not need markers for scanning, as it uses a hybrid geometry + texture tracking system.

    The iReal 2E is not considered a metrology-grade scanner, like Scantech’s other 3D scanners. However, it is still able to scan at an incredible resolution of 0.20 mm while capturing textures in 24-bit color.

    It uses the infrared VCSEL structured light technology instead of blue lasers for scanning. This unique light technology allows for a long working range and a wide scanning area.
